Word Processor

Purpose:  The Corporate Manager sends documents to the CMS word processor rather than immediately printing the documents that have been created.  This gives the user complete control over the appearance of documents.  Primary word processor functions are available including importing graphics and tables.

Overview:   Documents can be created and sent to the word processor from the Create Documents form.  Saved documents can also be opened in the word processor from the Saved Documents form.

The easiest way to get text from an external document into the Corporate Manager word processor is to cut and paste the document.  It can then be saved to the CMS database or to an external file in an RTF format.  Just press the Word Processor button on the Navigation toolbar to open the word processor.

RTF formatted files can be opened using the Open option on the word processor’s main menu.

Reports from the Reports option on the main menu of one of the data forms also open the word processor.  Reports can be saved to an RTF file format but can not be saved to the CMS database.
